Steve Jobs

There are hundreds of thousands of sentimental tributes appearing in media and online for the late Steve Jobs (1955 – 2011).
Not knowing him personally my message is based simply on how he effected my reality. Steve Jobs has been a name I have heard and read since I first started dabbling in the world of technology in 1996.
I always knew him as the pioneer of the GUI. This was when I was working on Sparta good old Windows 3.1 and was blown away by not having to type 30 lines of commands to open a document.

This video revels a bit about the way Steve Jobs thought and in particular his penchant for forward thinking and progressive thinking.

Since Steve Jobs came back to Apple 1996 he lived up to this forward thinking ethos. He discontinued many redundant lines and launched the revolutionary iPod.
He has since pioneered new ground with the iPhone, iPad and a plethora  of other brilliant devices.

They say you are either a Mac person or a PC person, I think regardless of which you are you can appreciate the amazing work Mr. Jobs has done over the last decades.
Stylissimo Design Studio makes use of a number of Apple devices so from a pragmatic level we owe our very existence to people like Steve Jobs.
The tools he has created has enabled millions.

A great loss to the world when a great thinker can no longer share his thoughts.
