There are hundreds of thousands of sentimental tributes appearing in media and online for the late Steve Jobs (1955 – 2011).
Not knowing him personally my message is based simply on how he effected my reality. Steve Jobs has been a name I have heard and read, since I first started dabbling in the world of technology in 1996.
I always knew him as the pioneer of the GUI. This was when I was working on Sparta good old Windows 3.1 and was blown away by not having to type 30 lines of commands to open a document.
